STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Glenville State Men's Golf team closed out the West Liberty Invitational this afternoon, finishing 2nd as a team and freshman Benjamin Fernandez took home the individual title.
Goldey Beacom won the tournament with a team score of 867 with the Pioneers finishing in 2nd at 880 and California (Pa.) was third at 894.
Benjamin Fernandez won the individual award after shooting 214 (68-69-77) in the three-round tournament. Shaydon Johnson was second on the team with a score of 220 (74-75-71), followed by Juan Mockenberg's 222 (72-76-74), Bumin Choi's 224 (73-77-74) and Lorenzo Van Niekerk's 238 (80-77-81).
