GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Women's Soccer is set to host the Frostburg State Bobcats inside Morris Stadium tomorrow night (Sept. 27) and travel up the road to Bridgeport to take on Salem on Sunday (Oct. 1) at The Bridge Sports Complex.

THE OPPONENTS
FROSTBURG STATE
The Bobcats enter (7-0, 4-0 MEC) and sit atop the MEC North standings. FSU put together two shutouts last week, blanking West Liberty 3-0 at home and Fairmont State 2-0 on the road.
Brian Parker is in his 22nd season leading the Bobcats WSOC program. Last season, the Parker-led Bobcats went (18-2-2, 14-1-1 MEC) and earned a NCAA Tournament bid. Prior to Frostburg joining DII, he ranked 42nd nationally amongst winningest active coaches by winning percentage (.686) in Division III. During his time, he has had a long list of All-Conference, All-Tournament and All-American selections.
Tori Flocco-Mizer has been phenomenal early on for FSU, leading the team in goals with five and adding a solid two assists. She also has the most shots on goal with 19. Morgan Mrizek hasn't found the back of the net yet but she does lead the team in assists with four. Ashley Bilger is up to six saves on the season. As a team, the Bobcats have recorded 21 goals through seven games (three goals per game).
SALEM
The Tigers come in (0-4-1) following a 7-0 defeat at home to Notre Dame College. Salem will battle with Davis & Elkins on Wednesday prior to meeting up with the Pioneers on Sunday.
Florin Marton is in his second stint leading the Tigers as he's in his 14th season of stint #2 and 20th overall. In his 20 seasons, Marton has led Salem to nine winning seasons and holds the record for winningest coach in school history. While in the G-MAC, Marton had three third-place finishes and two ECAC DII Championship game appearances. He played professionally in Romania and was on the Romanian National Team as a goalkeeper.
Chloe Owens has scored the only goal for the Tigers this year. She is one of just two players who have a shot on goal. Sarah Cabrera is a busy goalkeeper, netting 77 saves while also allowing 32 goals.
THE PIONEERS
GLENVILLE STATE
The Pioneers enter the week (2-3-2, 1-3-1 MEC) after going 1-1 last week with a 1-0 home win over WVWC on Wednesday and a 6-0 defeat on the road at Concord on Sunday.
Merel Smets is the leading goal getter for the Pioneers with four on the year. Aitana Viejo has three and Mackenzie Hendricks has one. Abigail Morales has double-digit saves with 10 while Mikayla Brown sits at five and Allyson Arthur has one.
