CHARLESTON GOLDEN EAGLES
The Golden Eagles enter (4-0, 3-0 MEC) and are one off three teams undefeated in conference play (Frostburg State and WV State). UC is coming of a 76-16 homecoming victory over WV Wesleyan last week.

Quinn Sanders is in his second season as Head Coach of the Golden Eagles. In his first season at the helm, Charleston went 6-5 overall and finished 4th in the MEC. They were 1st in the league and Top 10 nationally in scoring and had the MEC Freshman of the year (Chavon Wright). Sanders spent two seasons as Offensive Coordinator for the Golden Eagles prior to taking over. He was also the QB Coach at UC for six seasons. Before Charleston, Sanders was the Running Backs Coach at Midwestern State.

Javonte Howard has aired it out 86 times this season, completing 60 of those attempts for 849 yards and 11 touchdowns. On the ground, Chavon Wright has picked up where he left off from his outstanding freshman campaign, totaling 435 rushing yards on 71 carries and adding five touchdowns. Alex Brink has been a good second option in the run game, accumulating 21 carries for 289 yards and two touchdowns. There are two receivers with 200+ receiving yards, led by Marquan Herron's 14 catches and 261 yards. Tae Marrero is the other 200+ yard receiver as he has 207 on 13 receptions and a team leading four touchdown grabs.

Aden Miller tops the team leaderboard in tackles with 26, including 19 solo tackles. Willie Floyd has been solid as well, totaling 20 tackles, four TFL and two sacks. Roderick Webb has won an MEC Defensive Player of the Week award this season thanks to his two-interception performance against UNC Pembroke. In total, he has three on the season. PK Ackah-Yensu and Nick Evans have been busy in the backfield, sharing the team lead in TFL with 5.5 each.

GLENVILLE STATE PIONEERS
