GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State athletes
Anthony Garrett and
Sadie Hill have been tabbed
GoMart Pioneers of the Week, the GSU Athletic Department announced.
Garrett, a junior out of Detroit, Mich., threw for 186 yards and four touchdowns on 22-of-30 passing at Wheeling on Saturday. The Loyola High School product helped march the Pioneers down the field for a game-winning touchdown drive that saw Garrett find
Naseem Pacheco from four yards out with just under three minutes left in the 4
th quarter.
Hill, a transfer junior from Barton College, accounted for 50 total assists last week, averaging 25 assists per game. The Ashland, Ky. native recorded 26 assists and seven digs against Davis & Elkins and produced 24 assists and seven digs versus Frostburg State.
