WEST LIBERTY, W.Va.- Glenville State Track & Field had another strong performance this past weekend at West Liberty, setting a new school record and recording personal bests on both the women's and men's side.
NEW SCHOOL RECORD
Natalie Barr won the 1500m run and set a new school record, crossing the finish line at 4:49.
NEW PERSONAL BESTS
The Women
Janae Scott continues her stellar season, recording a PR and placing 3rd in the discus with a throw of 38.37m.
Jayden Cover ran a personal best in the 100m dash at 14.11.
Bianca Jamen also PR'd in the 100m dash, running a 13.21 in the prelims.
Sara Lowe finished with a personal best and placed 3rd in the pole vault at 2.46m.
The Men
DJ English crossed at 1:01 in the 400m hurdles, recording a personal best.
Logan Fisher's 1:05 in the 400m dash was a new PR.
The discus throw was a strong event for many Pioneers as Michael Clay (38.96m), Charlie Bauman (38.35m), Casey Mahoney (36.61m), Euan Kettle (34.58m) and Adam Burnside (31.12m) all PR'd.
Euan Kettle threw a personal best in the javelin as well, finishing at 30.27m.
Christian Hannah was just 3cm off his personal best in the hammer throw but he still won the event, throwing 47.94m.
