ASHLAND, Ohio – The Glenville State Indoor Track & Field teams once again made movement in the all-time lists, set new personal bests and recorded high placements this week, this time at the Ashland Invitational.
ALL-TIME LISTS
The Women
Jenna Barnett moved into second all-time in the mile run at 5:32.27.
The Men
Nick Pitchford had another tremendous day as the freshman net the new school record in the mile run (4:19.77) and placed 7
th in the event. Pitchford is also now 2
nd all-time in the 800m run with a time of 1:59.48.
Patrick Reilly now holds the school record in 5k, crossing at 15:28.56.
Aaron Kupfner tied his own school record in the 60m hurdle prelims with a time of 8.27.
Caden Davis PR'd and is now No. 5 all-time in the mile run at 4:31.99.
NEW PERSONAL BESTS
The Women
Hannah Rowan set a new personal best in the 400m run with a time of 1:03.63.
The Men
Jacob Bauman PR'd in the weight throw with a throw of 12.60m.
Charlie Bauman has a new personal record in the shot put at 14.11m.
Braden Hashman ran a new PR in the 200m dash, crossing at 23.90.
HIGH PLACEMENTS
The Women
Natalie Barr placed 7
th in the 800m run with a time of 2:20.41.
Bridgette Knapp was 9
th in the high jump at 1.49m.
Addy Cottrill placed 13
th in the weight throw (14.53m) and the shot put (11.84m).
Janae Scott threw 12.81m in the shot put to take 6
th.
The Men
Aaron Kupfner was a top 8 finisher in the 60m hurdles.
Zac Hall took 16
th place in the 200m dash at 22.61.
Charlie Bauman notched a 14
th-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 14.11m.
Up Next For The Pioneers
The Pioneers will have a few athletes at the Youngstown State Collegiate Invitational on Friday (Jan. 31) with the rest of the team making the trip to Muskingum for the Muskie #3 on Saturday (Feb. 1).
