BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – After their big performances in Saturday's (Oct. 11) 19-13 win over No. 21 Frostburg State, Glenville State running back
Jeremiah King (Offensive) and defensive back
Sean Scott (Defensive) are Mountain East Conference Players of the Week.
King, a redshirt sophomore out of Clarksburg, W.Va., ran for 100 yards on 23 carries and one touchdown to earn Offensive Player of the Week. King averaged 4.3 yards per carry and his TD run was the game-winning score in double overtime.
Scott, a senior out of Manassas, Va., totaled 12 tackles, eight of which were solo, along with two pass breakups, one QB hurry and 0.5 TFL to earn Defensive Player of the Week. Scott and the Pioneer defense held Frostburg State to their lowest point total of the season and under 350 yards of offense.
