GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville States Volleyball ends October with two road conference matchups this week as the Pioneers will take on Davis & Elkins on Tuesday (Oct. 28) and Frostburg State on Friday (Oct. 31) in a pair of pivotal MEC contests.

THE OPPONENTS
DAVIS & ELKINS
2025 Season
The Senators come in (0-20) overall and (0-10) in the MEC. The Senators have not won a game since November 1 of 2024.

FROSTBURG STATE
2025 Season
The Bobcats hold a record of (8-12) overall and (3-6) in the MEC after beating Davis & Elkins and West Virginia Wesleyan last week in straight sets.

The Bobcats are led by Dani Kunkle with 218 kills on the season while setter Emery Kuebler has 465 assists, which is top five in the league. On defense, Kunkle also leads the team in digs with 216 and Paige Mock has a league second-best 109 blocks.

Coming off a loss to Wheeling, GSU is looking to get closer to .500 in league play this week with multiple road matchups.

The Pioneer attack is led by freshman Kaiya Lian with 176 kills and junior college transfer Mikayla Curry has 139. Setters Sadie Hill (292 assists) and Elitsa Peneva (274 assists) have shared time creating offensive opportunities for GSU. Defensively, Cali Queen has 266 digs and Ava O'Hare is right behind her with 261 while Curry has been strong at the net on the defensive side of the ball with a team-leading 66 blocks.
