GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Volleyball preparing for fourth meeting against Mountain East Conference champion West Virginia Wesleyan in MEC tournament. The Pioneers cliched the #3 south spot by winning their last game against Concord and a 5-10 conference record this season. With WVWC winning the league's regular season title, the Bobcats will host the tournament in Buckhannon. The Pioneers and Bobcats have faced off three times this year as GSU beat Wesleyan 3-2 all the way back in September, the Bobcats won the next two meetings 3-0 and 3-2. This quarterfinal matchup will take place Friday evening in the Rockefeller Center on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan and will get underway at 5 p.m.

2025 Season
The Bobcats went (19-8) overall and (11-4) in league play, having won six straight games and are (8-3) on their home court. The Bobcats were the MEC Regular Season champions and will host the conference tournament all weekend.

2025 Season
The Pioneers closed the 2025 season (13-17, 5-10 MEC), clinching a berth into the MEC Tournament by defeating Concord, 3-1, on Friday (Nov. 14). GSU took the No. 4 seed in the North Division by having a better winning percentage than Frostburg State.

Led by Kaiya Lian offensively all season, the true freshman recorded 227 kills while Rita Kelly had 192 and Keleigh Chrisman had 185. Sadie Hill led the team with 397 assists and Elitsa Peneva pitched in with 366. Defensively, Ava O'Hare recorded 347 digs and Cali Queen had 330. At the net, Mikayla Curry led the team in blocks with 75.
