THE OPPONENT
CONCORD

2025 Season
Concord enters the final week of the regular season at (9-5-3) overall and (8-3-3) in MEC play, sitting second in the South Division and firmly in playoff position. The Mountain Lions are coming off a 2-1 win over West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday, their second-straight victory.

Quick Look at The Mountain Lions
Concord boasts one of the most balanced lineups in the league, led by forward Tiana Campbell, who has scored 11 goals this season, and Caitlin Webster, who continues to be one of the top assist leaders in the MEC. The team has scored 40+ goals this season while allowing just 24. Earlier this fall, Concord defeated Glenville State 4-0 in Athens, controlling much of the possession in that meeting. However, the Pioneers have been much stronger defensively at home, making this rematch a key test for both sides.

THE PIONEERS
GLENVILLE STATE
2025 Season
Glenville State (6-10-1, 5-8-1 MEC) enters the final week looking to keep its postseason hopes alive. The Pioneers currently sit tied in points with West Virginia Wesleyan for the fourth playoff spot in the South Division and lead the goal differential in head-to-head matchups but do trail slightly on goal differential against the rest of the conference. With Wesleyan facing last-place Davis & Elkins this weekend, a win on Wednesday will likely be essential for Glenville to secure a postseason berth.

Quick Look at The Pioneers
The Pioneers will look to bounce back from a tough loss to regionally ranked West Virginia State on Sunday. Giselle Hamilton found the back of the net in that match, assisted by Solares Solano, who continues to lead the team in both goals and assists. With postseason hopes on the line, Glenville knows that goals will be the difference. The Pioneers will look to their attacking leaders, especially Solares Solano, Valentina Quiroz, and Giselle Hamilton, to create chances early and finish strong against a Concord team that has rarely been beaten this season.
