GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State athletes
Natalie Barr and
Gabe Onorato have been selected GoMart Pioneers of the Week, the GSU Athletic Department announced.
Barr, a junior out of Canvas, W.Va., broke her own school record in the 5000m run at the Marshall Opener on Saturday (Dec. 6) with the Indoor Track & Field team. She finished 2
nd in the race with a time of 17:33, beating two Division I runners from Marshall as well.
Onorato, a graduate student out of Paulsboro, N.J., went (3-0) for the Pioneer Wrestling team on Sunday (Dec. 7) as Glenville State won two out of their three duals. Onorato defeated returning All-American and No. 5 nationally ranked Isham Peace from Lander on his way to his undefeated day.
