GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State athletes Tynasia Bunting and Kyle Homet have been picked GoMart Pioneers of the Week, the GSU Athletic Department announced.

Bunting, a transfer guard from Chowan, averaged 18.5 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 3.5 SPG and 1.0 APG in games against Point Park and Salem. The 6-foot, Newport News, Va. native had 21 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and two assists against Point Park while helping lead the Lady Pioneers to a victory over Salem with 16 points, two rebounds and three steals.

Homet, a graduate transfer from Life University, wrestled up to 197 pounds from his usual 184 class, going (3-0) to help the Pioneers pick up three top 25 wins at the Greyhound Duals. Homet capped off a great weekend with a win over Derek Blubaugh from Indianapolis, the returning national champion in the 197-pound division.
