WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - The Glenville State Lady Pioneers broke the century mark en route to a huge victory on the road against West Liberty on Wednesday night, 108-82.
Glenville State controlled this one from the opening tip as they scored 27 points in the first ten minutes with baskets from Stevi Yancy, Dejaan Schuler, Tynasia Bunting and Ashlyn Riley. More of the same followed in the second as the Lady Pioneers scored 25 points with contributions from Dream Cherry and Ahsha Spencer as they pushed the lead to 52-31 at the half. The second half was much closer as the blue and white only won the final 20 minutes by five points combined but GSU had already built a big enough lead in half one that the Hilltoppers could not overcome, allowing GSU to close out the 26-point victory.

Bailee Smith led the team with 24 points while Jenna Ricardo and Anna Lucarelli both had 16. Hailey Smith chipped in with nine while Karli Anker and Paige Julian both had five.
Glenville State
Nwando Okigbo led the Lady Pioneers as she scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Tynasia Bunting had 19 points while shooting 8-13 from the floor and grabbed 10 rebounds and had five steals. Ashlyn Riley had a career high 16 points and knocked down four three-pointers. Ahsha Spencer and Dream Cherry both tallied 12 points while Stevi Yancy had 11. Other contributors were Dejaan Schuler (five points, three rebounds) and Jade Salters (five points, four steals)
