GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneers fell to Point Park at home Wednesday night, 71-65. GSU's losing skid extends to three with the defeat.
GSU built an early lead with contributions from Tynasia Bunting, Jamesha Samuel, Jade Salters and Nwando Okigbo, taking a 17-point lead into the halftime break. GSU would be outscored by 12 in the third quarter after making four three-point shots to make the score 59-54 in favor of the Lady Pioneers at the end of three quarters. Glenville State could not get anything going in the fourth quarter as they only scored six points in 10 minutes and shot less than 25% from the field. Point Park would capitalize on the poor shooting by GSU and win the game, 71-65.

Camille Fultz led the team in scoring with 18 and grabbed 10 rebounds. Ari Bleda and Alexis Giles both had 14 points and Emma Pavelek had 13 for the Pioneers. PPU made five threes as a team and four of them came in the third quarter. The Pioneers also shot 18-24 at the free throw line.

Tynasia Bunting had 21 points to lead the Lady Pioneers and she also grabbed 12 rebounds and had four steals. Nwando Okigbo had 15 points while also leading the team in rebounding with 19. Jamesha Samuel had her best game of the year, scoring 11 while shooting four of six from the field. Jade Salters chipped in with six and Jhakia Gist had five.
