GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State athletes
Payten Semenske and
Aaron Kupfner have been named GoMart Pioneers of the Week, the GSU Athletic Department announced.
Semenske, a senior from Statesville, N.C., was a huge contributor in the Pioneers win over West Virginia State last week. She contributed majorly in the pyramid event as the mid for all three, of which start from a 10. GSU's Inversion and Open pyramid tied for the highest scores of the meet with a score of 9.85 and the running total for the day on the event was a 29.25/30.
Kufpner, a senior from Parkersburg, W.Va., moved into fourth all-time in the 110m hurdles (15.13) and the 400m hurdles (53.86). He placed fourth in the 110m hurdles and sixth in the 400m hurdles as well.
