BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - The Glenville State Track & Field teams enjoyed nine event wins on senior day at the Jasmine Claggett Memorial Invite yesterday (Apr. 18), officially wrapping up the regular season for the Pioneers.
NEW PERSONAL BESTS
Women
Addy Cottrill had a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 11.61m.
Keleigh Chrisman PR'd in the shot put (11.25m) and discus (34.48m).
Jayden Cover placed second and set a PR in the 100m dash with a time of 13.38.
Men
Patrick Richison set PR's in the hammer throw (26.62m) and shot put (9.01m).
Jacob Bauman (40.16m) Hunter Goddard (39.53m) and Adam Burnside (38.02m) all set personal records in the hammer throw.
Casey Mahoney won the discus and PR'd at 41.68m while Kaden Mills (38.02m) and Jacob Bauman (31.24m) also set personal bests.
Spencer Waggoner notched a PR in the pole vault at 2.75m.
Ian Strader won the high jump and PR'd at 1.93m.
Rodney Francois PR'd in the long jump (6.25m) and 100m dash (11.45).
Brady Layman set a new personal best in the 3000m steeple at 10:44.28.
Braden Hashman PR'd in the 110m hurdles at 14.96.
HIGH PLACEMENTS
Charlie Bauman won the shot put with a throw of 15.43m.
Aaron Kupfner won the 400m hurdles at 54.27.
Nick Pitchford won the 800m run with a time of 1:56.46.
Janae Scott won the discus with a throw of 42.32m.
Bridgette Knapp won the high jump at 1.50m.
Jordyn Taylor won the pole vault, reaching 3.20m.
