GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Football Head Coach
Mike Kellar has announced the hiring of Jack Hofmann as the program's Offensive Tackles / Tight Ends Coach.
Hofmann, a Columbus, Ohio native, joins Kellar's staff after working at Southern Methodist University (SMU) as a student assistant offensive line coach under Garin Justice. While at SMU, Hofmann was a part of history with the Mustangs, coaching in back-to-back conference championship games and winning the 2023 AAC Championship. In addition, Hofmann coached in the inaugural College Football Playoff in 2024.
Hofmann was a volunteer assistant for the Pioneers during the spring but has since been elevated, assisting Offensive Coordinator / Offensive Line Coach
Jeremy Harmer in the trenches and coaching the Pioneer tight ends.
"He's knocked it out of the park, helping us with portal kids, working with (offensive) tackles and tight ends. He's been a really good hire for us," said Coach Kellar.
He graduated from SMU in 2024 with a Bachelor's in Sports Performance Leadership after finishing high school in 2021 at Upper Arlington High School.
