GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Men's Golf will host the 8^th Annual Tim Carney Tribute Golf Outing on October 17th at the Glenville Golf Club. This event was designed to honor Coach Carney and all the former golfers who helped lay the foundation of Glenville State's success over a two-decade period of time the program was under the Hall of Famer's guidance.

This year's event will begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start and will be played under the 4-man Captain's Choice format. As always, it will run in conjunction with Homecoming Weekend.

The tournament will have an $80 entry fee which will cover the participants' golf, cart, lunch and a small gift. There will also be a skin game and casino hole along with awards for the top teams in the field. Due to a shortage of golf carts, the field has been limited to 20 teams for the Fall '25 outing. 

All funds generated during this event will go into the GSU Foundation / Pioneer Athletic Account. This revenue will go towards the cost of attendance for members of the men's golf team. If you need additional information, please don't hesitate to call the Men's Golf office at 304 462-6052.
