BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Glenville State Men's Golf has been labeled 3
rd in the Mountain East Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, the league announced today.
The defending champion University of Charleston is once again slated to win the league, receiving all nine first-place votes and 81 total points. Davis & Elkins was picked in front of the Pioneers as the Senators held 67 points while GSU took 55. Fairmont State and West Virginia Wesleyan tied for 4
th (49 points) with West Liberty (48 points), Concord (38 points), Wheeling (36 points), West Virginia State (17 points) and Point Park (10 points) finishing the poll.
