GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Two incoming Glenville State Men's Golfers are coming off strong tournament showings while involved in events competing on the international level. Both
Hector Arriaga (Mexico) and
Daniel De Quintal (Cayman Islands) finished up late summer events while representing their countries on national teams.
Hector Arriaga posted rounds of 72-72-67 211 (-2) in the Junior America's Cup in Portland, Oregon. This event featured teams from the United States, Canada, and Mexico with a total of 18 teams and 72 golfers. Hector's (-2) finish put him in sixth place in the 72-man field. His Mexican National team finished 7th in the 18-team field as well.
Daniel De Quintal was also active representing the Cayman Islands in the 2025 Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championship. Daniel put together rounds of 77-78-75 230 to finish in 10th place in his event. The tournament was contested on the Grand Reserve in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
