GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Lady Pioneer Soccer is set for another busy week, traveling to Concord on Wednesday (Sept. 17) before returning home to Morris Stadium on Sunday (Sept. 21) night to host the University of Charleston.

THE OPPONENTS
CONCORD
2025 Season
Concord (1-2, 1-0 MEC) grabbed its first win last weekend, topping West Virginia Wesleyan 4-2. Sophomore Tiana Campbell scored twice, while freshman Alana Ferguson added her first career goal. The Mountain Lions had dropped their first two contests to Kutztown and nationally-ranked Gannon.

Campbell leads the team with three goals in three matches while goalkeeper Maddie Loughborough has started two games and notched four saves. Gabby Griffith has also made a start, producing five saves.
CHARLESTON
2025 Season
Charleston (1-2, 1-0 MEC) opened league play with a 2-0 shutout of Davis & Elkins. Jamie Bland played a part in both goals, scoring one and assisting the other, while freshman Mya Mills tallied her first collegiate goal. Veteran keeper Sofia Chaverra made five saves to preserve the clean sheet.

The Pioneers (0-3, 0-1 MEC) continue their search for a first win after a tough opening stretch at Mars Hill, Ursuline and West Virginia State.
