GLENVILLE, W.Va. – A new era of Glenville State Women's Golf will officially be underway this week as the Pioneers head to St. Clairsville, Ohio for the Wheeling Invitational. GSU heads out today and will compete through Friday (Sept. 5).
Sturm will make her coaching debut for Glenville State as the Weston native was named the head coach last month. She will have a young squad competing early in the year with one junior (
Mackenzie Czapla), three sophomores (
Elaina Seeley,
Abby Ankenman,
Olivia Dickson) and a freshman (
Kenzie Armstrong).
The Pioneers will be in a competitive field, facing off against the host, Wheeling, plus Concord, Point Park, California (Pa.), Fairmont State, Millersville, Bluefield State, West Virginia Wesleyan and West Liberty.
