Four School Records Broken, Seven All-TIme Marks Set for Pioneer Indoor Track & Field

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Glenville State Indoor Track & Field teams continued their strong season at the Muskie #1 Meet, breaking four school records, setting seven new all-time marks, as well as recording 29 personal bests across all of the events on Saturday (Jan. 17).

NEW SCHOOL RECORDS
Hill, Erkkinen, Skeens, and Torres broke the record for the women's 4x200 relay (1:52)
Hall, Williams, Livengood, and Smith broke the record for the men's 4x200 relay (1:34)
Natalie Barr broke her own record for the 1600m race (5:06)
Hannah Hill broke the record for the 500m dash (1:21)

NEW PERSONAL BESTS
Bella Green threw a new personal best in weight throw with 9.84m
Michael Galaviz threw 8.99m in shot put, giving him a new personal best
Janae Scott threw 14.79 in weight throw, moving her to 3rd all-time. She also threw 13.51m in shot put for a new personal best and smashed the indoor facility record at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex
Isabella Torres ran a new personal best in the 60m dash with a time of 8.31 and added herself as 2nd to the 500m all-time lists with a time of 1:24
Hannah Hill raced the 60m dash with a time of 8.16, giving her a new personal best
Marah Erkkinen added a new personal best in the 60m dash with a time of 8.96 as well as raced the 500m dash with a time of 1:27, putting her as 4th all-time
Brock White raced the 60m dash and set a new personal record with a time of 8.12
Chase Livengood ran the 60m dash and set a new personal best with a time of 7.36
Carson Smith raced a time of 7.32 in the 60m dash, giving himself a new personal best, along with moving into 2nd all-time for the 500m dash with a time of 1:09
Ian Strader gained a new personal best in the 60m dash with a time of 7.53
Will Jackson had a new personal best in shot put by throwing 13.20m
Hunter Goddard threw 11.97m in the weight throw, setting a new personal best
Dustin Williams competed in weight throw and threw a new personal best of 11.22m
Casey Mahoney threw 14.28m in shot put to achieve a new personal best
Jenna Barnett moved to 2nd all-time in the 3000m race with a time of 10:28
Ella Austin raced a time of 11:39 to set a new personal best
Katie Hicks is now 3rd all-time in the 3000m race with a time of 11:00
Laura Cain set a new personal best of 11:41 in the 3000m race
Trent Hickle raced the 3000m and set a new personal best with a time of 11:09
Will Hollands raced a time of 9:18 in the 3000m race to set a new personal record
Caden Davis ran 4:30 in the mile and is now 5th all-time
Darius Gray raced the mile and gained a new personal best with a time of 4:43
Jackson Mallett set a personal best in the 800m race with a time of 2:05, as well as the mile with a time of 4:39
Abby Dixon raced in the 800m run and achieved a new personal best with a time of 2:30
Bethany Payne competed in the 800m run and set a new personal record with a time of 2:28
Morgan Ruggles ran a new personal record in the 800m run with a time of 2:31

Up Next For The Pioneers
The Pioneers will be back in action next week, returning to Muskingum for the Muskie #2 Meet while also traveling to Ashland for the Ashland Invitation on January 24th.
