THE PIONEERS
Last weekend, the Pioneers competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invite. This was a great midpoint season meet for the Pioneer women as
Natalie Barr had a stellar 3rd place finish along with the transfer
Tammy Liplin, who finished 13th overall. The women will be competing in their first 6k tomorrow, which will be a good race to showcase their fitness.
The men are coming off a 14th place finish as a team at the Carnegie Mellon invite, which was led by Jackson Mallet who finished 82nd individually. Freshman Griffing Brunty and Jacob Barthalow set personal bests at the previous meet and are looking to continue that momentum into this weekend. The men will be competing in an 8k, which is a familiar distance for them to close out the regular season strong.
