YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Following a weather-related weekend off, the Glenville State Indoor Track & Field teams traveled to the YSU Mid Major Invitational and delivered a standout performance with 21 personal bests and two school records.

NEW SCHOOL RECORDS
Natalie Barr ran 9:56 in the 3000m race and broke her own school record
Nick Pitchford ran 8:31 in the 3000m race and broke his own school record

NEW PERSONAL BESTS
Will Jackson threw 16.59m in the weight throw and improved his second all-time mark
Addy Cottrill threw 15.37m in the weight throw and improved her 2nd all-time
Macy Hilvers threw 14.72m in the weight throw and improved her 4th all-time mark
Jenna Barnett is now 2nd all-time in the mile (5:07) as well as the 800m race (2:22)
Abby Dixon is now 3rd all-time in the mile with a time of 5:30
Hannah Hill is now 2nd all-time in the 400m (1:00.18) and set a new personal best in the 200m dash (26.89)
Isabella Torres is 3rd all-time in the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.53
Bethany Payne is now 4th all-time in the 400m dash with a time of 1:01.56
Rory Taylor-Young ran 50.87 in the 400m dash and is now 4th all-time, and ran 23.26 in the 200m dash to set a new personal best
Carson Smith ran 50.90 in the 400m dash and is now 5th all-time as well as a personal best in the 200m dash (22.97)
Katie Hicks moved to 3rd all-time in the 3000m race with a time of 10:51
Will Hollands ran 8:58 in the 3000m race moving him to 4th all-time
Brock White jumped 1.37m in the long jump and set a new personal best
Brianna Browning threw 11.85m in the weight throw and set a new personal record

The pioneers will compete in-state next weekend at the Marshall University Jewel City Invitational in Huntington, W.Va. on February 6th and 7th.
