VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Glenville State Track & Field standout Janae Scott became the first-ever female T&F Pioneer to earn All-American at the NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships. Scott is the first indoor or outdoor female athlete to garner such honor, doing so in the shot put.
 
Scott placed 14^th out of 18 throwers in the event, logging a throw of 14.18 in her second hurl to be tabbed Second Team All-American. Scott's first heave was 13.30m, but a strong second throw boosted the junior out of Doylestown, Pa. to a top 15 finish.
 
AWARDS BREAKDOWN
USTFCCCA unveiled an updated All-America award structure for the 2025-26 academic year, with First Team All-America being awarded to the top eight finishers in each men's and women's event, Second Team All-America being awarded to finishers 9-16 in each individual men's and women's event and finishers 9-12 in each men's and women's relay event, and Honorable Mention being awarded to finishers 17-19 in each individual men's and women's event.
