CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Glenivlle State Track & Field teams delivered a standout performance at their outdoor opener at the 49er Classic in Charlotte, N.C., breaking three school records and earning 21 personal bests.

NEW SCHOOL RECORDS
Janae Scott threw a new school record in shot put (14.16m) as well as hit the national provisional mark with the throw
Natalie Barr set a new school record in the 10000m run with a time of 36:06
Will Jackson set a new school record in the discus with a mark of 45.67m

NEW PERSONAL BESTS
Chase Livengood set a new personal best in the long jump with a mark of 6.83m
Fatima Amaya-Diaz threw 33.83m in the hammer throw, which set a new personal record for herself
Braden Hashman raced in the 110 Hurdles and set a new personal best with a time of 14.67
Hannah Hill became second all-time in the 400m dash with a time of 58.94 and set a new personal best in the 200m dash with a time of 26.54
Bethany Payne set a personal best in the 400m dash with a time of 1:01
Jacob Bauman threw 40.79 in the hammer throw and set a new personal best
Morgan Ruggles raced in the 1500m run and set a personal best with a time of 5:13
Abby Dixon ran a personal best in the 1500m run with a time of 5:11
Caden Davis raced a personal best in the 1500m run with a time of 4:05
Jackson Mallett ran 4:11 in the 1500m run, setting a new personal best and set a personal best in the 800m run with a time of 1:59
Luke Barr raced in the 1500m run and set a new personal best of 4:17
Ella Austin is now 5th all-time in the 5000m run with a time of 19:41
Kamryn Armstrong is 4th all-time in the 5000m run with a time of 19:33
Katie Hicks is now 3rd all-time in the 5000m run with a time of 18:27
Casey Mahoney competed in the shot put (14.57m) and the discus (42.56m), in which he set personal bests in both events
Jenna Barnett is now 2nd all-time in the 800m run with a time of 2:24
Nick Pitchford is 2nd all-time in the 800m run with a time of 1:54
Landon set a new personal best in the 800m run with a time of 2:02
Marah Erkkinen raced a new personal best in the 200m dash with a time of 28.93
