INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Glenville State Indoor Track & Field star
Janae Scott has thrown herself into the 2026 NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships, the NCAA has announced. Scott becomes the first-ever Pioneer, male or female, to earn a bid to the Indoor Nationals.
Scott, who was ranked #16 in the shot put, is one of 18 qualifiers for the event in Virginia Beach, Va. Scott's 14.86m throw at the Mountain East Conference Championships two weeks ago that won her another MEC title, is also what qualified the Doylestown, Pa. native for Nationals.Â
She will compete on Saturday, March 14th, inside the Virginia Beach Sports Center at 5:15 p.m.
