WHEELING, W.Va. – The Glenville State Men's Golf team won the MEC Spring Classic by eight shots at Oglebay Resort this week over two rounds as the Pioneers shot four under as a team. GSU beat California (Pa.) by eight and Davis and Elkins by 12 to capture the tournament.

Fermin Perez Santandrea led the way at five under for the tournament shooting 68 and 69, while Hector Arriaga finished at four under shooting 67 and 71. Irtaza Hussain carded scores of 73, 73 to finish at four over, and Daiki Airura recorded 76 and 73 to finish at seven over for the tournament.
