GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State athletes
Kylee Goodman,
Natalie Barr and
Adam Bright have been named
GoMart Pioneers of the Week, the GSU Athletic Department announced.
Goodman went 5-for-10 with three doubles and four RBIs in Glenville State's (4-0) weekend at West Liberty and Wheeling. She had a hit in every game this weekend, including a 2-for-2 and two-double performance against WLU in game two. Goodman then had a double and three RBIs versus Wheeling in game one on Sunday.
Barr ran in the Invitational 5k at this weekend's Bison Outdoor Classic, finishing 27th out of 97 runners with a school record time of 16:57.87. Barr raced against athletes from the likes of Buffalo, Quinnipiac, Lehigh, Bucknell, Penn State, West Virginia, Yale, Rider, Manhattan, Youngstown State, Cornell, Robert Morris, Detroit Mercy, UMBC, Saint Joseph's, Bryant and Maryland, placing in front of 33 Division I runners.
Bright logged five hits in 11 at bats in the Pioneers four-game split at West Virginia State this weekend, notching two home runs, one double and three RBIs. Bright had multiple two-hit performances, including a double and a home run in game three.
