BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Glenville State Softball star
Delaney Warnick is officially the program's first-ever All-American, landing on the D2 Conference Communications Association (D2CCA) Third Team.
Warnick, who is a junior out of Perryopolis, Pa., has taken off since early April. The Pioneers starting shortstop hit .398 with 77 hits, 12 doubles, one triple, 19 home runs and 70 RBIs heading into this week's NCAA DII Women's College World Series. She earned MEC Tournament MVP after hitting .545 with six homers and 18 RBIs as well as D2CCA All-Region First Team following a strong regional tournament at Shippensburg. Her 19 home runs ranks her T-6
th in the country while her 70 RBIs is tied for 10
th-best in the nation.
