GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Men's & Women's Golf will start the 2026 season this week, traveling to Charleston tomorrow (Sept. 8) and competing until Thursday (Sept. 10) in the UC Fall Invitational. The women will also travel to Ohio Dominican Friday (Sept. 11) to play in the ODU Champions of Women's Golf Tournament for the weekend.

Under the direction of new head coach Patrick Smith, both Pioneer squads were selected to finish second in the league this season. MEC Freshman of the Year and All-MEC First Team pick Moa Lindgren is back as well as All-MEC First team selection Elaina Seeley for the women's team. On the men's side, Smith inherited a strong roster from former coach John Lilly, as Daiki Aiura, Irtaza Hussain, Gervasio Leyes and Fermin Perez Santandrea returned to Glenville to play for Smith.

The men will play at Edgewood CC while the women will compete at Berry Hills CC.
