"I would like to thank Athletic Director Jesse Skiles for the opportunity to lead the men's & women's Golf programs," said Smith. "I'm looking forward to continuing and growing the success and traditions of these great programs."

Smith graduated from Davis & Elkins in 2022 with a degree in Sports Management. He played for the Senators and enjoyed a success career on the course, earning All-MEC Second Team honors in 2019 and appearing at the NCAA DII Nationals after winning an MEC championship.
