Brian Thomas is in his first season as the Pitching Coach with the Glenville State Baseball program in 2026.
Thomas brings 40+ years of baseball experience to Glenville. His previous stops have included time at the High School, Collegiate and Professional levels, with his most recent stop being at Columbia High School in Lake City, Florida. As a High School Head Coach, Brian's teams won 309 games during his 19 years in North Carolina and Florida. His collegiate stops have included Bluefield University in Bluefield, WV and Florida State College in Jacksonville, Florida. Professionally, Thomas spent four years in the Montreal Expos Organization, based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Brian is a 1979 Graduate of John T. Hoggard High School, in Wilmington, N.C. and attended East Tennessee State University, in Johnson City, Tenn., where as a member of the baseball team, they competed in 2 NCAA Regional Tournaments.
Brian and his wife Kelly, reside in Weston, W.Va., and are the parents of Hunter Thomas ('26), a current member of the Glenville State Baseball program.
