Dylan Frye

Dylan Frye enters his third season as an assistant coach with the Glenville State University Pioneers where he works with the outfielders and hitters. 
  
A resident of Smithville, W.Va., Dylan graduated from Ritchie County High School where he was First-Team All Little Kanawha Conference outfielder, First-Team AA All-State outfielder and First-Team USA Today All West Virginia outfielder. 
  
Frye graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, where he played in the outfield for two seasons. Prior to West Virginia Wesleyan, Dylan played at Coastal Carolina University under Gary Gilmore, one of the top five most winningest head coaches in Division I college baseball. Dylan also played one season at Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, N.C. 
  
In 2019, Dylan graduated from East Tennessee State University with a master’s degree in sport science and coaching education where he worked with the football program in strength and conditioning under master strength coach, Alan Johnson, a Parkersburg, W.Va. native. 
  
Prior to coaching baseball at GSU, Dylan was a strength and conditioning intern with GSU during the fall semester of 2019.
