Renn Havill enters her second season with the Glenville State University volleyball coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach. Coach Havill joined the Pioneers coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach in August of 2021.

Havill also served as the Interim Sports Marketing Coordinator at GSU for one season. During her stint as Sports Marketing Coordinator, she extensively covered the Women’s Basketball team’s historic season as MEC runner-ups, Atlantic Region Champions, and NCAA DII National Champions. She was also the sports information contact for all winter and spring sports (Acro, T&F, SB, BB, Golf, MBB, WBB).

Prior to her arrival at Glenville, Havill spent one season as an assistant volleyball coach at NCAA Division III Utica College in Utica, New York. In 2019, Havill also served as the student assistant coach for NVU-Johnson's men's volleyball team. During the 2019-20 campaign, both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams completed the season with the best overall record in program history.

Havill's playing experience at the college level is extensive, as she played two years at Northern Virginia Community College before transferring to Northern Vermont University-Johnson.

In her junior season, Havill led the conference in kills, finished second in kills per set, fourth in points earned, and 13th in aces per set en route to receiving North Atlantic Conference All-Tournament and All-Conference honors. Havill ranked seventh in program history in kills in only one season with the team, as her senior season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, Havill was named Northern Vermont University’s Most Outstanding Student-Athlete. While in college, she maintained a 3.9 GPA and graduated from Northern Vermont University-Johnson with a Bachelors in Business: Sports Management.

Havill finished her career at Northern Virginia Community College ranking sixth all-time in kills, fifth in attacks, and ninth in points. Her team was the Region XX DII champions and competed at the NJCAA DII National Championship.

She is currently working on her Master’s degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Sports and Recreation Management.
