Glenville, W.Va. – Glenville State had two players record seven kills in Tuesday night's road contest at Rio Grande but came up short as they dropped all three sets to the Red Strom.
Glenville State dropped set one, 25-14. However the Lady Pioneers would come back strong in the second set but ended up falling, 25-20. GSC then dropped the third and final set, 25-16.
Angelica Nichols and
Bailey Brawner each had seven kills in the contest while Brawner also finished with seven digs.
Madison Gargus had a team high 10 assists in the game while
J'shawna Thompkins finished with five digs.
Rio Grande was led by Kayla Briley as she finished with a game high 12 kills.
Glenville State (0-10) will hit the road this weekend on Saturday, September 17
th for a Tri-match at Ohio Christian. The Lady Pioneers will take on Ohio Christian at 12PM then will battle Bluefield State at 2PM
