Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneer volleyball team dropped an MEC road contest game on Tuesday evening at West Virginia Wesleyan, 3-1.
Glenville State (0-11, 0-3) dropped the first two sets in the match to the Bobcats 25-15 and 25-15. However the Lady Pioneers had a great third set as they finished with 12 kills to the Bobcats 11 as they took set three 25-21.
West Virginia Wesleyan ended the Lady Pioneers in the fourth set as the Bobcats took it 25-18.
GSC finished the game with 37 kills on 154 attacks but had 39 errors while WVWC finished with 46 kills on 133 attacks and committed just 19 errors.
Haley Wolff and
Bailey Brawner each had 11 kills to lead GSC while
Madison Gargus finished with 17 assists. Brawner also led the team in digs with 28 on the night.
Glenville State will return to action this Thursday, October 5
th as they host the University of Charleston at 7 p.m. from the Waco Center. Â Â Â
