Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneer softball team picked up their second win of the season on Sunday in the Myrtle Beach Snowbird Softball Tournament defeating Shippensburg.
Glenville State got on the scoreboard first in the first inning as
Mackenzie Smith hit an RBI single scoring
Kim Ellis. The Lady Pioneers would add to their lead in the third inning as
Ally Brown had RBI single scoring Ellis again as they went up 2-0.
GSC then added another run in the sixth inning as they went on to claim a 3-0 victory over Shippensburg.
Glenville State finished the game with eight hits while Shippensburg finished with four hits.
Ally Brown went 3-for-3 with two RBI's while
Paranda Uber went 2-for-3.
Brown also pitched all 7.0 innings allowing four hits and had three strike outs.
Glenville State (2-7) will host Salem International on Thursday, March 2
nd in a double-header at the Sue Morris Sports Complex at 2:00 p.m.Â
