Glenville, W.Va. – The GSC softball team dropped two games to the Senators of Davis & Elkins in a non-conference game on Tuesday.
In game one, Davis & Elkins struck first in the top of the second as they took a 1-0 lead.
The Senators then added two runs in the fifth, with two more in the sixth, and four in the seventh as they went on to win game one over GSC 9-0.
Glenville State really struggled hitting as they mustard up just four hits while Davis & Elkins finished with 13 hits.

Raven Greer, and
Hayley Olson each recorded a hit in the game.
Kahla Von Berge pitched 4.2 innings allowing seven hits, three runs, and had two strike outs.
In game two of the day, Davis & Elkins again struck first as they scored four runs in the top of the first as they led 4-0. The Lady Pioneers got on the board in the second inning as they scored three runs to pull within one, 4-3.
Glenville State later tied it up in the fourth at 4-4 as

However Davis & Elkins retook the lead in the fifth as they scored three runs to take a 7-4 lead and later the Senators added four more runs in the seventh as they claimed game two 11-4 over GSC.
The Lady Pioneers had five hits in the contest with Davis & Elkins recording 11 hits in the win.
Raven Greer went 2-for-2 while
McKenzie Edmonds went 1-for-3 with two RBI's.
Ally Brown pitched 4.1 innings allowing six hits and seven runs.
Glenville State (7-13, 2-2) hits the road this weekend as they take on UVa-Wise at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25
th and Concord on Sunday, March 26
th at 2:00 p.m.
