Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State softball team went scoreless in two games on the road Wednesday afternoon at the University of Charleston.

Glenville State managed just two hits while allowing the Golden Eagles seven hits as the Lady Pioneers fell in game one 2-0.

Dallas Kilgore had both hits for GSC as she went 2-for-2 while Ally Brown pitched the entire game allowing two runs on seven hits.

Glenville State would try and bounce back in the game number two however UC jumped out to a 2-0 lead after scoring a run in the first and a run in the second.

The Golden Eagles then added two runs in the fifth and four in the sixth as they defeated the Lady Pioneers 8-0.

GSC had just four hits and committed two errors while giving up 11 hits to UC.

Mackenzie Smith went 1-for-2 while Taylor Gilliland also went 1-for-2. Kim Ellis finished the game 2-for-2 while Miranda Cropp pitched 4.2 innings allowing four runs on seven hits.

Glenville State (13-30, 7-17) will hit the on Sunday, April 23^rd as they travel to West Virginia State for a double-header with the Yellow jackets.
