Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneer volleyball team fell on the road Saturday to the Mountain Lions of Concord University, 3-0.
In the first set Concord had four more kills than GSC, 19 to 15 as they took set one 25-23.
Glenville State would try and bounce back in the second set but the Mountain Lions would win big 25-11. Concord then finished off the Lady Pioneers in the third set by a final of 25-21.
The Lady Pioneers finished the game with 38 kills on 104 attacks but committed 24 errors while the Mountain Lions had 43 kills on 95 attacks and committed just six errors.
Jazaray Clark-Casto continued her strong play as she led the team in kills for the second straight game with 13.
Ai Miyazaki had three serve aces on the day while
Madison Gargus led the team in assist with 36. Miyazaki, also led the team in digs with 13 in the game.
Glenville State (0-9, 0-2) will host Salem International this Tuesday, September 26
th in their first home game of the season at 7:00 p.m. from the Waco Center
