Wheeling, W.Va. – The Glenville State Lady Pioneer volleyball went on the road Saturday and fell to the No. 20 Wheeling Jesuit University Cardinals, 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, and 25-12).
Glenville State (5-10, 1-6 MEC) tallied 21 kills and committed 21 errors while Wheeling Jesuit (18-3, 5-0 MEC) totaled 47 kills and committed just nine errors.
The Lady Pioneers finished with 26 digs and had three team blocks on the afternoon. The Cardinals had 40 digs and 11 team blocks while also finishing with three service aces.
Jezaray Clark-Casto had six kills while
Skylar Mace and
Hannah McKown each finished with five kills.
Madison Gargus had 12 assists while AiMiyazaki finished with nine digs.
Wheeling Jesuit was led by Haley Kramer as she finished with 11 kills.
Glenville State (5-10, 1-6 MEC) will return to action next Friday, October 12
th when they host Notre Dame College at 5 p.m. from the Waco Center.
