Pioneers Looking to Carry Momentum into Game Five

Glenville, W.Va. – With an early 4-0 start, the Men's Basketball program will return to action as the Pioneers take on the Golden Eagles of University of Charleston in their second conference matchup of the season.
 
UC comes into the match at 4-1 on the year and 0-1 in conference after falling 78-86 to Concord early Saturday.
 
During the 2018-2019 season, the Pioneers fell to UC both at home and on the road 102-73 and 99-81.
 
Phil Bledsoe leads the Blue and White with 94 total points averaging 23 points and eight rebounds a game with 12 shots from behind the arc.
 
Both Tyvon Taylor and Steven Verplancken average 16 points a game as Taylor leads with 18 assists and seven steals. Verplancken has 18 rebounds on the year shooting 22-for-46.
 
Ty Robinson leads second behind Bledsoe with 29 rebounds and first in blocks with 10.
 
Noah Frampton and Hegel Augustin both lead with 11 steals and 11 and 12 assist, respectively.
 
The Blue and White will return to action, Sunday December 1st as they take on University of California, PA in a non conference match up at 4pm in the Waco Center.  The 2017-2018 season was the last time the two teams met where the Pioneers fell short 105-94.
