Glenville, W.Va. -  The GSC Pioneers took action in the Hometown Heroes Boxing Challenge September 14^th in Charleston W.Va. but struggled to compete.

Issac Hess lost a unanimous decision to Steven Jordan in a highly contested bout. 

Zack Gillenwater went to war with James Ampy in a back and forth bout to bout battle, losing the match in the end. 

For the Main Event, Tobias Pearson won a split decision of Golden Gloves Champion Daquon McNeill in a match that had fair competition. This match was the bout of the night with the fast action lasting throughout the entire fight. 

GSC Boxing are in hopes to rebound as the Pioneers are back in action October 12^th for their first home event, War in the Waco V.
