Glenville, W.Va. – GSC Volleyball (1-10) fall in three straight sets to the Wildcats of Daemen College (7-3). The Lady Pioneers went 0-3 in the weekend series in hopes to gain momentum into the GSC Home Opener on September 26
th at 7pm against Salem University.
GSC had a total of 26 kills in the game while pledging 16 errors to Daemen College, where they committed to 45 kills and also pledging 16 errors.
In the first set, the Lady Pioneers and Wildcats faced off in a back and forth brawl but falling short 25-20. GSC dropped the second set 25-17.
In the third and final set, the Lady Pioneers were eager to make up a comeback and fought in line with the Wildcats in a give and take match. GSC fell short of the set, losing 25-21.
Skylar Mace and
Seanna Stump lead the Lady Pioneers in kills with 11 and 10, respectively.
Bailey Hanson dedicated two blocks with
Chase Cooksey and Jazaray Clark-Casto who each committed one.
Madison Shepherd devoted to 13 digs,
Kenzie Johnson and Mace followed behind with six each.
The Lady Pioneers will play at home court Thursday September 26
th at 7pm versus Salem University.
