Glenville, W.Va.- The Lady Pioneers faced off against the Tigers of Salem University to win second match of the season in three straight sets 25-18, 25-21 and 25-23, pushing them to 2-9 on the year.
The Lady Pioneers take set one 25-18 with 16 kills.

Set two, the Lady Pioneers fall behind early to make a quick comeback tying the set, 5-5. The Lady Pioneers would then fight back point by point for the next six before the Lady Pioneers took the lead 12-10. The Tigers would then make a comeback to tie the match 19-19, before GSC takes set two, 25-21.

In set three, the two teams would go back and forth before Salem took the first two-point lead, 15-13. Salem would then extend their lead 21-17 before the set would be tied 23 all. The Lady Pioneers would take the win in three straight sets winning the set 25-23.

Skylar Mace lead the Blue and White with 18 kills,
Karlei Shaver following behind at 16.

Mace had four serving aces along with Hannah Mckown with two in the match.

Sophie Shifferly had 47 assists as Shaver had 16 digs along with
Madison Shepherd tailing 14
