Pioneers Travel to Face Cardinals

Glenville, W.Va. – The Pioneers will hit the road to Wheeling University to face off against the Cardinals. Tip off is slated for February 15th at 4pm.

Glenville dropped to 13-10, 10-7 MEC after hosting West Liberty in a mid-week clash 111-80 as the Hilltoppers swayed away from the Pioneers in the second half.
 
Maintaining the fourth spot in the conference, the Cardinals follow behind in fifth with 12-9, 10-7 MEC record.
 
The Pioneers average 93.4 points a game shooting just 45% from the floor and hold the top spot in 3-Pt Field Goals Made averaging 12.8 a night.
 
Wheeling on the other hand averages just 77.2 points per contest and third in conference in rebounding with 33.4 a night.
 
Pioneer Highlights
 
The Blue and White lead eighth in the country in Offensive Rebounds Per Game with 14.53 and 19th in Assist/Turnover Ratio with 1.43.
 
Ty Robinson holds the 18th spot in Blocked Shots in the country and first in MEC action with 2.09.
 
Hegel Augustin is ninth in the conference in rebounds averaging 6.9 a game.
 
Noah Frampton and Steven Verplancken hold the 10th and 11th spot in 3-PT Field Goals Per Game with 2.2 and 2.1 a night, respectively.
 
Coming Up
 
The Pioneers will continue playing on the road as they head to Buckhannon to square off against West Virginia Wesleyan in mid week action.
