Pioneers Looking to Get Back Into Winning Ways

Glenville, W.Va. – The Pioneers look to bounce back into their winning ways, Saturday February 8th at 4pm on the road at Frostburg State.

The Pioneers fell short to Fairmont State earlier in the week 79-77 as their late rally came up short.
 
Coming into the contest, GSC sits tied for third in the league at 13-8 on the year and 10-5 in MEC action while averaging 95 points a game, fifth in the nation and shooting 46.2% from the floor.

The Bobcats broke a three game losing streak after beating Concord University on a buzzer beater 68-65 pushing them to 8-13 on the year and 5-10 in conference play. 
 
Sitting in the tenth spot in conference action, the Bobcats average just 76.6 points a night leading third in Offensive Rebounds with 13.7 a game.
 
Pioneer Highlight
 
The Pioneers are third in the country in 3-Pt Field Goals per Game at 13.0.
 
GSC also sits 12th overall in the division in both Assist/Turnover ratio at 1.50 and Total rebounds per game at 41.48.
 
Ty Robinson leads the conference and is 21st in the division in Total Blocks with 39 on the year.
 
GSC's Assist/Turnover ratio is third in MEC action with 2.06 while Hegel Augustin leads fourth in conference in Steals/Game at 1.86.
 
Phil Bledsoe leads conference play in Points per Game tallying 21.1 points a night.
