FROSTBURG- Coach
Keven John's Glenville Volleyball team battled Frostburg hard through the second and third sets Tuesday night, but eventually fell to the Bobcats 25-8, 25-20, 25-20.

Frostburg opened the evening strong scoring the first five points, and rolling to through the first set. Glenville bounced back with a strong second set and kept it close throughout, but could not tally the set win to tie the match. The third set was equally competitive, and GSC kept it close until the final rallies.

Karlei Shaver led Glenville with 11 kills, followed by
Sydney Goodrich with five. Setter Sarah Grainger added 20 assists, while
Lindsay Winkler delivered a pair of service aces. Goodrich and Winkler both hit double figures in digs with 11 and 10.

Glenville falls to 2-12 overall and 0-8 in the Mountain East Conference. Frostburg improves to 5-15 overall, and 2-6 in league play.

John's squad returns home Friday night, hosting Fairmont State in the Waco Center. First serve is set for 7:00.
